While we continue to bask in the afterglow of all the great art vibes from last week, we thought we would keep the party going by curating a list of major art fairs and biennials in the coming year. After the pandemic disrupted the art world’s fair calendar, last year saw the steady resumption of these events, with some permanently switching their dates; it also saw the launch of two new fairs. This year will see the inauguration of two major fairs in Asia: ART SG, which opened the art fair calendar this January in Singapore, and Tokyo Gendai, set to launch in nearby Yokohama in July.

In case anyone was wondering, the Magnussons lived up to the title and partied like rock stars at Ms. Morristown’s party “A Night at the Museum” at the Morris Museum last week. Lauren, Mike, and Michael Perris of The Bubble Collection all made their cameos, as well as a dear, longtime client of ours, Debbie Gaelen of The Embellished Path. In this case, a picture is truly worth a thousand words!

On a final note, we wanted to encourage everyone to go see the Hopper exhibition at The Whitney before it closes next month. If you have ever lived in New York, visited New York or just love the Big Apple, it is worth a trip into town to glimpse Hopper’s perspective of Gotham in the early 20th century. Our Marketing Director Heather saw the show in December and said it brought back a spate of vivid memories from her Manhattan and Brooklyn days. Not to mention the joy of discovering a quiet gallery populated with charcoal studies for Nighthawks (Hopper, 1942). Lauren is planning a trip to see the show next week; perhaps you’ll follow suit and see her in the galleries!

And for those of you who are Superbowling today, may the best team win.
