Meet the Magnussons! Founded in 1994, The Magnusson Group is a family-owned business that is New Jersey's leading provider of personal property appraisals, asset management solutions, bespoke estate sales and curated auctions. Serving families and professionals from our office in Morristown, The Magnusson Group offers a capable, full-time team of appraisers, client managers, marketing experts, stagers and salespeople. Our full-time support staff is complemented by their national network of appraisers, specialists, dealers and collectors.

What We Do

We are a Morristown, NJ luxury estate sale and auction company. When our clients move or downsize, our team goes into their house to organize, stage, price, advertise, and host a multi day sale. Everything we do is high quality, from how we stage our houses to photograph personal property, from over-the-top customer service on sale days to our expert clean-outs after the sale. We have a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. We love working in a business that, at the end of the day, serves others well. In 2020 we expanded our estate sale services by launching online auctions.

We're constantly adding depth to our services which means more positions for our team. As our multi-faceted company continues to grow, there will be opportunities to add to our team. We're always on the lookout for new quality team members.

Our Morristown HQ needs an experienced fine and decorative art cataloguer or appraiser for our Auctions and Estate Sales. Object ID, research, photography, and establishing estimates. The opportunity to do site-visits is here, as well. Must have excellent verbal and written skills, be detail oriented, maintain confidentiality, work quickly, and, hopefully, have a calm, confident presence, and a sense of humor. Stagers

Do you love working around Fine Art & Design, Luxury Goods, Jewelry, Coins, Antiques and Interesting Property? Founded in 1994, The Magnusson Group is one of NJ's foremost Estate Sale, Auction and Personal Property Appraisal & Consulting Firms. We are currently experiencing exciting growth and need help servicing NJ's HNW clients. Our Morristown HQ needs an experienced stager with well-rounded connoisseurship skills in decorative arts and antiques. Stagers spend most of their time organizing the contents of our estate sale houses under the direction of the staging manager. During the staging process, they sort through all rooms, drawers, cabinets, and closets; grouping and sorting items of both higher and lower value. After our houses are fully staged, we open a two day sale to the public. The staging team is essential throughout the sale; they offer white glove customer service by answering general questions, managing the holding area and helping customers load items to their car.
