Lynn's Likes: Harding Estate Highlights

This prominent Harding Family Estate is chock full of interesting antique and vintage items, reflecting the owner’s connoisseurship and whimsy. The pictures Lauren took give a good sense of the scope of the estate’s contents.  Take your time inspecting each photograph.  These are few of my favorite things...You’ll be charmed … check out the Noah’s Ark gold bracelet and the unusual bracelet on the bottom of the photo of the bracelet grouping which has precious stones and enamel charms. There are 100s of fanciful + fun brooches, rings, bracelets, earrings including an eye-catching 18K gold and enamel scorpion brooch, an 18K gold snake ring with blue enamel and Burmese ruby eyes, and a joyful enamel and diamond butterfly.

The collection of 1:12 miniatures are created by several well-known artists like George Schlosser (seascape painting), Don Buttfield, Hermania Anslinger, Ernie Levy, and Paul A. Runyon.  These tiny treasures are exquisite works of wood, art, textiles and sterling silver. There’s even a wonderful silver tea service and a “working” chandelier. There are whole contents of completely decorated miniature rooms that were originally in diorama or building settings. These marvelous miniature feats of craftsmanship are sure to make collectors covet.
